亞清面档 Ah Cheng Noodle Shop is widely appreciated for its generous portions and affordable pricing, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is known for its unique laksa and curry mee varieties, featuring a notably rich broth enhanced by peanuts and fresh ingredients like fish balls, fish cake, and char siu. Customers frequently highlight the freshness of the seafood and the distinctive flavors of dishes such as the rojak mee and mee kicap with curry sauce. Aug 2025 update Still very much the same. Good portions. RM7 for all types of noodles. Fish paste fuchuk half size RM5, enough for 2 or 3 pax. Passion or dragon fruit juice RM5. Curry laksa and rojak laksa may not be everyone taste. A bit in the sweet side but it is definitely unusual. I liked the peanuts in laksa as it gave a thickening effect to the broth Overall ok. 2021 Tuck in a lane away from the main road, in front of a school. Go before school busy hours. Must try the noodles as it is homemade, not the commercial yellow mee. Konlo version is best to taste the noodles and must have the pork lard cracklings. (selling RM10 for one tub). The curry laksa is good, it has the rich santan taste. Their specialty is the rajok mee, which is like a thicker version of curry laksa with rojak sauce topping. A good combination.

One day trip to Sg Pelek - Tanjung Sepat A spontaneous decision is a choice made quickly and impulsively, without extensive deliberation or planning. And this was what I did on a recent state level holiday - bringing the family to the coastal side of Selangor on the south. First pit stop - Ah Cheng Noodle Shop. We set the GPS and let it took us through the highways and we arrived at the door step around 9am. We were in luck - fresh delivery of seafood took place as we were waiting for our orders. Seeing the fresh seafood being delivered by an uncle on motorcycle, I asked and quickly agreed to place additional order be it we were over-ordered or not. It turned out to be the best decision that morning. ◾Laksa was good with that old school taste though I prefer thicker texture. ◾Mi Kicap is their version of Kon Lou mee with shredded egg and generic char siew. Delicious with springy noodle. ◾Rojak Mee was unique and similar to curry mee except they added crushed peanuts, boiled egg to it. I couldn't get enough of this.. ◾Kari Ikan - the pomfret was as fresh as it can be. ◾Steamed Lala was astounding, showcasing how fresh clams could win the battle with just simple cooking method. ◾Sup Fish Ball which I ordered for sharing was freshly made as well. ◾Fried Fu chuk for snacks. ◾Sambal which they gave for free had a tinge of sweetness. All homeworks were done one day prior yet it turned out smoothly.

The best curry mee in town. Their laksa/curry mee is the best. Even their rojak mee sedap. Must order passion fruit drink. Good combo. My personal fav is their mee kicap with curry sauce.

A unique curry mee with lots of peanuts, char siu and fish cake, they called it rojak mee. Never seen it before in other places. Personally, I like the dry homemade noodle that is cooked like the wanton mee style. The fishball and fish cake are fresh and nice. This shop is in Sungel Pelek, Selangor. Friendly service.

I ordered three types of noodles, and the dry noodles definitely took the cake. They were springy and well-cooked, perfectly complemented by the black sauce. The char siew was lean but still tender. The curry noodles and rojak mee were just average. Kudos for the generous portions, especially at such an affordable price (RM7 per bowl).

The key serving ingredient is the coconut based Curry Laksa, which is quite tasty! Rojak Mee is the best combination of Penang Styled Laksa and KL/Ipoh Curry Laksa. 1) The star here is the Rojak Mee, which is served with shrimp based sauce and peanuts, as well as the coconut based curry. 2) Love the Hock Chew noodle, quite chewy and tasty 3) The Fu-Chok is ordered by large piece 4) Fried WanTan is really tasty 5) The owner and families are attentive to patrons 6) Overall fast services 7) Reasonable prices 8) Flies 9) Humid, warm, about the same as most eateries in Malaysia

It’s a local style noodle shop owned by local Chinese villager but operated fully by foreign worker. For locals, everybody knows what and how to order but for non local you might feel a bit lost. Noodles are priced reasonably, seafoods are in my opinion higher priced. The curry laksa is nice and the fried fuchuk is also very nice, both creates a perfect combination. Cutleries are self service, you need to take it from a centralized area at the middle of the shop.
